Sarbani
Born on 21st October 1978, Sarbani is the daughter of an eminent Mumbai-based musician Late Ranjit Dutta. With more than 16 years of industry experience and a diploma holder on Tagore songs from Sangeet Prabhakar University (Allahabad), Sarbani has mastered both the theoretical and practical aspects of music. From a tender age of 3, she started learning music, and she also received a formal training on Piano for 5 years from Trinity College of Calcutta.
With her mellifluous voice and mature style of singing, Sarbani has given us numerous old and new Bollywood soft numbers, a couple of Ghazals and Sufi, a good number of Bengali songs, including Tagore, Nazrul Geeti, Folk and Adhunik and mostly Hindi Bhajans. Her euphonious voice is perfect for Hindi Bhajans, and hence she released her first album from Raga Music, where she lends her voice to sing melodious Bhajans. Kristi Creations released her second album, named Nikunj Mein Biraje, next to which her renowned Sufi Song Rashk-E-Qamar, recorded in Mumbai became an instant hit.
Time to time, she performs in various respectable shows and corporate events across the city. At present, she is training her students on vocals and Synthesizer.
